There are many opportunities to be involved in short-term missions. This provides an excellent opportunity to experience the culture and conditions that the local people live in. Recently a number of Apostolic churches in the UK have undertaken short-term missions. Visits have been made to Moldova, Romania, China, Latvia, Chile and Mozambique.

If you would like further information about short-term missions speak to your church leader or contact Actionoverseas.

Financial Support Partners

The challenge facing Actionoverseas in the 21st Century is to fulfil the Great Commission (Matt 28:19). The Apostolic Church as a registered UK charity depends upon the goodwill offerings and donations made by its members and supporters. To continue seeing the growth and development of its overseas operation - Your financial support is essential.

How to give

Please phone Helen Boateng at the Church Office on 020  7735  5784 and please be ready to provide information on: card type, card number, valid from / until, issue number and security code.

Please state that this is a donation for ‘ActionOverseas’. Please state if you want ActionOverseas to treat all donations that you make from the date on this declaration as Gift Aid.

You will need to pay UK income tax and / or capital gains tax at least equal to that which ActionOverseas claims on your donation in each year [currently 25p for each £1 given].

Legacies

Leaving a legacy can make a world of difference to your family, friends and neighbours - it's also a wonderful way to remember Actionoverseas. Please contact us for further information or speak to your solicitor.

Gift Aid

As a registered charity the Apostolic Church is able to reclaim from the government any tax that has been paid on gifts and donations, providing that the donor has signed a Gift-Aid Declaration.

Information about ‘Gift Aid’ and how you can support Actionoverseas please contact the office.

Note on financial giving: ‘While every effort is made to locate funds with specified giving areas, there may be rare exceptions when it is most beneficial for the work of ActionOverseas for funds to be re-distributed to another field area’.
