Primary School Child Teaches Adults
Primary School pupil, Eleanor Kittle, has come with an imaginative way to raise funds for overseas missions. Eleanor noticed that her school was collecting funds for various projects. After talking to her Sunday School teachers, she asked is she could start her own church fundraising for the work of ActionOverseas in Malawi. Eleanor began a ‘guess-the-number-of-sweets-in-the-jar’ competition. During the monthly ‘mission Sunday morning cake stall’, Eleanor approached congregation members to enter the competition. The winner, Mrs.Sheila Richards, was announced at the church service in June. £26 was raised for the work in Malawi.
Every contribution towards the work of ActionOverseas is great fully received.
