Obama-mania in Kenya

Kisumu, Kenya (ancestral home of Barack Obama) was the base for UK delegates. Ps. Ian Ross [Snr], Phil Cawthorne and Adrian Galley who witnessed the US Presidential election morning celebrations [photo].

The two-week visit to develop links with churches in Kenya and Uganda involved speaking to over 140 pastors and leaders at conferences, ordaining new apostles and meeting key leaders to understand the issues they face. ‘Despite the difficulties, dynamic young pastors and leaders are working, often sacrificially, to impact communities spiritually and practically.  It was both challenging and inspiring’ commented Adrian.
